Sales Representative — IT Infrastructure & Security

Canada (Remote-Friendly) Data Centers · Physical Security · Network IT

💵 $60,000 – $80,000 base salary 🏆 Sales incentives & commission

Drive new business acquisition across enterprise and SMB accounts in Canada and the USA
Sell across all three TecHands pillars — data center infrastructure, physical security (CCTV & access control), and network & IT support
Build and manage a pipeline through cold outreach, referrals, and industry events
Prepare RFP responses, proposals, and tailored pricing presentations
Represent TecHands at conferences and trade shows
Partner with delivery teams to ensure client satisfaction and repeat business

5+ years of B2B and A2B sales experience — proven track record of bringing in new business is essential
Background in IT infrastructure, physical security, or data center services strongly preferred
Familiarity with vendors such as Verkada, Avigilon, Axis, or AWS is a strong asset
Excellent proposal writing and client communication skills
Highly self-motivated with a hunter mentality — ability to work independently and hit targets
Proficiency with CRM tools and pipeline management

Data Center & Security Field Technician

Canada & USA (Travel Required) Data Centers · Physical Security · Network Infra

⚡ $60 – $75 / hour

Perform rack & stack, cabling, and hardware installation at data center facilities across Canada and the USA
Install and configure CCTV cameras, access control systems, and intercoms at enterprise client sites
Run and terminate structured cabling (Cat6/Cat6A, fiber) for network and security deployments
Conduct site surveys and document as-built configurations
Support circuit activations and cross-connects at colocation facilities
Coordinate with remote NOC and project management teams

Hands-on experience in both data center infrastructure and physical security installations
Familiarity with Verkada, Avigilon, or Axis security platforms is an asset
Experience with structured cabling, patch panels, and cable management
Ability to travel across Canada and the USA for project-based work
Valid driver's licence and reliable vehicle
FieldNation profile or prior freelance field work experience preferred
